Table JX - get param from URL

It forgets, because it is not in the filter any more. This problem appears only with List box. If you have used exact value, for instance "CARE Pharmacy 200m Swim" this value will appear in the filter and it will not get forgotten. Or you can use a textbox, and the value "CARE" will appear in the textbox and will also not get forgotten.

If you still want to use Listbox, I suggest that you adapt your data model in a way that you have this 'organisation' (CARE Pharmacy, Mercuryman,...) in a separate column. This way you will be able to use listboxes without 'forgetting'.
