In 5th release it is possible...
You can create URL, Article, Category or even Section links inside TableJX.

Hello there,
Not entirely sure how I tell TableJX where to link to. Because I cannot fill in the url, nor can I choose and article ID.
How does it work exactly?

Hi,
You should have in the same table you would like to display a column with article ids. Than you bind a column in which you want to have links with the column where article ids are.

Sorry, I still don't know what to do. I have included the Category ID in my table.
I want to go from a grid with only Category Title (=grid1), where the content is clickable to the grid (on the same page) which shows Composers and Scores for this Category (grid2).
In grid 2 I have the category id as per grid 1's Category ID.
Now, in grid 1, how do I link? At the moment I show:
Links:
Link for Column Link Column Link Column Type
id id URL Article ID Category ID Section ID
Should I now choose URL, Article ID, Category ID, Section ID?
And if I choose any of these, how will grid 2 know which filter to use?
Sorry, I am confused.

Hi,
Option URL requires the whole url address in your additional column (a column in a database table where you define links to the records).
Other three options refer to Joomla's content id's. If you choose Article ID you have to have Article ID of an existing article on your Joomla site in your additional column, and link would throw you to an Article view. The same is with component and section ID except that they point to component blow view or section blog view.
There is no easy that grid2 would know which filter to use. The easiest is to do what you did. Make several grids with different filters, and put them into separate articles. If there isn't too many grids to make of couse.
Now you can add a column of article ids to grid1 (in a database) and insert in each line a proper id of Joomla Article in which you have included one of grid2s. In this case you choose Article ID option.
You can also insert whole url addresses instead of Article ids into your additional column in grid1 (in a database), than you would choose URL option.
I hope I was clear enough, otherwise just ask again.

Tomaž
