What am i doing wrong

Hello,

Because i can not connect to the SQL server (see previous post). I want to test the Table JX component to show it.

But that doesn't work either.

I just want to get some data from the default joomla database.

What i have done:
Installed WAMP on test PC
Installed Joomla 1.7
Installed the Tools JX oomponent

Configured the tools JX component

Database type: Mysql / mysqli tried both
Database host: localhost
Databse user: root
password:
Database name: joomla

When i 'click Check and list table' the page refresh and the settings are gone.

I can't get the component to work??
someon can help please, if this works the next step is to connect to the sql server again.

Oke fixed it, local database i can connect to.


Now can someone help me with connection to sql database, i still got the error as in previous post...
