Display dollar sign

With TableJX, when displaying data from DB with a dollar sign "$", it is removed in frontend. I then added an escape backslash "\" before the "$" (i.e. "\$" ) into the data, it is initially alright but whenever I sort any columns, it displays both backslash and dollar sign (i.e. "\$" ), how to get rid from it?
