table JX competable with joomla 2.5

After installing Table JX 1.7.2 in a Joomla 2.5 website an error find place in the "Global Configuration" menu.

Fatal error: Class JDatabaseMSSQL contains 22 abstract methods and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (JDatabase::connected, JDatabase::dropTable, JDatabase::escape, ...) in /home/porsiu21/domains/alkmaardermeer.nl/public_html/c250/libraries/joomla/database/database/mssql.php on line 781

This error also find place after upgrading a joomla 1.7.3 website

What is de sollution?

The Problem are the 3 files

mssql.php
mssql2000.php
oracle.php

at

libraries/joomla/database/database/..

These come with the instalation of table table jx.

if they delete the problem is gone

I have the exact same problem except that deleting the aforementioned files does NOT solve the problem. Please advice.

As these .php files relate to other database types other than MySQl does this mean that the current 1.7 version will not be able to access an MSSQL or Oracle database?

I'd really like to use this component for a current project but need to know that if I buy it it will work! Using J 2.5 and need to access a MSSQL db.
