Fatal error: Class JDatabaseMSSQL - J 2.5

I get an error installing Table JX 1.7 on Joomla 2.5.

It says it installs correctly, however, when I go to the Server information panel afterwards, it comes up with the following error:

Database Type
Fatal error: Class JDatabaseMSSQL contains 22 abstract methods and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (JDatabase::connected, JDatabase::dropTable, JDatabase::escape, ...) in xxx\libraries\joomla\database\database\mssql.php on line 781

In a previous post, someone else said they had the same problem. Were you able to fix it yet?

worked for me...
deleting those mssql and oracle files from the libraries/jooml/database/database folder...


still can not really figure out how this toolsjx extension can make trouble to the global configuration window....
