No Search window after upgrade to 1.5.12

I will be upgrading to J2.5 soon so would like to resolve these issues.

Is there a way I can pay someone to help me with them?

I have purchased 2.5.1.1 today and installed it.

I have compared the table structures on 1.5.12 and 2.5.1.1.

For grid_conn, there are no differences.

For grid_columns, there are no differences.

For grids, there are 2 differences:

First, 1.5.12 has the field columnWidth but 2.5.1.1 does not.

Second, 2.5.1.1 has the field ExecPlugins but 1.5.12 does not.

Can you suggest how best to proceed please?

I installed Tablejx on J2.5 today, copied across the data and found that the search function worked.

Looking more closely, I found that the SearchF field was defined as tinyint in J1.5 and as text in J2.5. This explained why changed were not being saved and why the search function was not working.

I changed the type in J1.5 to text, opened and saved the grid definition and found that the search box now appears.
