No Search window after upgrade to 1.5.12

Hi,

I have just upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5.12 on J1.5.26.

I have noticed that the search window is no longer appearing above my tables. The first of the four search options 'Show search form' is definitely turned on.

Here is an example of a page that should display it.

angloboerwar.com/name-search

Do you know why this might be please?

Hi,

If you are using "Use Advanced Filters" setting, you have to tick the columns which are going to be used in the search form. (The Advanced Filter section below the Appearance section)

There has been quite a few changes in the database schema where Table JX stores its settings. How did you upgrade? Did you use any upgrade package, or have you just installed the newest version?

Tomaz,

I did a three stage upgrade: 1.4 to 1.5, and then 1.5.8 to 1.5.9 and finally installed 1.5.12.

All my tables display and link in the normal way. The two areas that no longer work are:

1. The search window does not display
2. The ,000s separator no longer displays in number of records

Tomaz,

I have just tried to turn on 'Show Advanced Search Options' and 'Use Advanced Filters'.

I can change the radio buttons to On and click Apply. The message appears saying the changes have been applied but the option is set back to Off again. I am not able to turn these two options on.
