I have a table that includes a persons surname. I have a search field to search by surname. The datatype of surname is VARCHAR in the mysql database.
When I try to search on a persons name that includes an apostrophe like in the name o'brien there are no results shown yet the names o'brien are in the database.
Any suggestions?
