Migration to Joomla 2.5

We are migrating the Tools JX Grid product that we purchased for Joomla 1.5.26 to Joomla 2.5.14.
Should I just import grid table or is there a better way to do this?

Our Grid version was 1.5.12 dated January 2012.

There has been quite a few changes to the database model since then, so it will not work if you just use the old tables. You would have to carefully apply all the changes which were made to the database tables, and hope that it will work afterwards. In other words, you would have to update version by version, to get to the latest, and then somehow transfer the tables to the new site. If you want to give it a try, you can contact us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and we will send you the update packages. How many view definitions do you have? If they are not too many it might be simpler just to create them again.

I appreciate the offer.
We probably have 86 distributors for whom we list name, address, city, state and email address.
I could query that out with phpMyadmin and send to a csv spreadsheet.
Is there any way to import that into the new product?

So you only have one table in the database? And 86 views different Tools JX views? Or only one Tools JX view that shows data dynamically?
