Pre-Sales Question

From the description it appears possible that we can connect to an MS SQL database table or view and load data into a grid in Joomla template.

Is it possible to do the reverse,, i.e. enter data in a Joomla grid or form and use it in an update statement to pass data back to the MS SQL database?
