Hi try to uninstall the component. Clean up the database and install it again.
To clean up the database you have to delete tables prefix_grids, prefix_grid_conn and prefix_grid_columns from your database.
Next you have to delete every record referring to "com_grid" in your prefix_menu and prefix_assets tables.
After cleaning up try to install the component again. Please let us know if you need assistance.
