Table JX: Column sort does not work

Hi

I installed Tools JX 3.4.1.2. (licenced Table and Graph and installed both) on Joomla 3.4.8.
The TableJX component lists data in the front-end and shows the search form, but sorting the table by clicking on the column headers does not work.
It seems to execute a JavaScript, but nothing happens.
