Can a drop down selection box be used in fields withing JX tables and if so will the the table still sort according to the selections made within the selection boxes?

I am not sure which drop down boxes do you mean. However the functionality to filter the table according to the values where the value would be selected from drop down boxes for each field is not possible right now. But one is still able to filter the table by multiple conditions using the "Advanced filter" option, where the filter values are entered in the text boxes for each column.
