Would you agree with the following, and if so, can it be done in a future version?! (or if it's easy can you suggest the code to hack)
When you have advanced search filters set to drop-down list, then the search should always be EXACT on those terms regardless of the default search selection, because the user has picked them.
To illustrate this and the problem I'm having:
I have a field, GENDER... Values are either MALE or FEMALE.
This field is one of my ADVANCED SEARCH FILTERS but my OVERALL SEARCH is set to 'DEFAULT' (what I want).
Trouble is if the user filters on MALE, then they get all the FEMALEs too (because of course the word MALE is in FEMALE too!).... What I'd expect to happen is because the user selected MALE it would do an EXACT search on that... and then follow the default search settings elsewhere...
Does that make sense?

Agree,
We will put it in the future versions. I can hardly suggest you do it alone, because currently there is a little bit of spahgetti code arround there, if you know what I mean...

Understood! Look forward to seeing it sometime in future after you've eaten some spahgetti
Thanks!
