Pre-sales question

Hi, I am strongly considering purchasing Table JX for a project I am working on.

Before doing so, I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind:

1) I have a MySQL database that displays part number, description, price, serial number, etc. On my Joomla site, within an article, all I want to display is part number and description. Table JX can do that for me -- right?

2) It looks like your latest version supports Joomla 3.2 but I am running Joomla 3.3.0. Will that be a problem?

Thanks in advance!

Hello

I'm going to buy Table TJ, but I would like to know first something:

1, Can I search multiple drop-down filters even from Unused columns?
I mean, I have an external database with 15 columns but I only want to show 5 columns in the table and I want the users to have the ability to search from 10 drop-down filters, is that possible?

2, Can I link an external DB column (for example, Name of Article) with a Joomla article?

Thank you very much.
(sorry for my english)

Hi,

Thank you for your interest.

1) Unfortunately the current version only supports to use the "used columns" in the search form. However multiple filters are possible.

2) I am not sure what exactly do you mean, but it think it is possible.

Thanks for the quick answer!

1. What if we use all the 15 columns and somehow make invisible the 10 we don't want to show? (I don't know maybe something like <div style="display: none;">)

2, I see in documentation is possible with custom ID, with the article ID. :)

Hi again, I've just successfully tried to hide the last column in your demo table called "Northwind's Products" in the Chrome browser adding the following in the grid.css:

.tableJX2UnitsInStock {
display: none;
}
.tableJX2headerUnitsInStock
{
display: none;
}
Do you think I can do the same with the Table JX if I buy it for my Joomla website?

Thanks a lot.
