I am currently running the latest version of Table JX but would like to see some of the following suggestions implemented in future versions.
In Grids Administration I would like
1. Allow sorting of grids by Title, ID or table name
2. To copy existing Grids rather than having to set each new Grid up from scratch
3. Have Global settings options for Grids
When setting up a new Grid I would like to have an advanced option to specify an SQL statement (rather than the current method of selecting tables and columns)
When inserting Grids into Articles I would like be able to set an SQL 'where' filter
example
{insertGrid ID = 1 WHERE column = 'Monday' and user = "John"}
Currently am either having to setup multiple views in my database or multiple grids in Joomla which is very time consuming.
thanks for your suggestions. We will probably create grid in admin with Table JX. To just copy grids would be very hard because now you can select each column that is specific for each table. Global settings like connection, sorting, etc. would be very appropriate. Hope to include in next release among master-detail page.
