Support for Diacritics?

I'm noticing at the bottom Table on the JX demo page , the words Quebec and Montreal are being rendered as Qu?bec and Montr?al.

This tells me that diacritics are not being supported or were mis interpreted when imported to the database. The question is are diacritics supported by Table JX or is Table JX going to mess up my diacritics?

Also, why are diacritics not working in this case? Is it the database settings... the import... the extension... something else?

I have inserted data with non-utf8 editor... And I haven't found the time to correct it...

You can see in table Products that special characters are supported...

For example:
A Thüringer Rostbratwurst
Côte de Blaye
Tunnbröd
