I have just installed Card JX and set up my first grid. Everything is working fine except that the following error message is permanently displayed
Notice: Undefined variable: conf_columns_count2 in /home/msociety/public_html/Test/components/com_grid/layouts/CardView.php on line 231
I am using Joomla version 3.4.1. Could this be the explanation?

I have just noticed that the text I have created in the grid article before the grid statement is not being displayed. Is this problem related to the Undefined variable error message or is it a different problem?

Hi,
do you have this somewhere on-line?

Hi,
This is the test site I am using
www.msocrepository.co.uk/Test/
Under the Find A Milestone menu option, there are 2 sub menu options
Repository Search - uses TableJX
Repository Search Card -uses Card View JX
Both products are accessing a 9,000 row table in the Joomla system MySQL database.
The Table JX implementation is fine. However. I prefer the Card View JX option as it is possible to provide embedded images and include more fields.
There are 2 problems with Card View JX implementation
The error message at the beginning of the page - Undefined variable: conf_columns_count2 in /home/msociety/public_html/Test/components/com_grid/layouts/CardView.php on line 231
The introductory text I have placed before the grid is not being displayed ( it is being displayed with Table JX)

I see. We wil try to fix it as soon as possible. For now you can try to reduce error reporting in Global Configuration.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have temporarily set Error Reporting under Server Settings to Simple and the error message is no longer being displayed.
I have realised why the introductory text is not being displayed. I had used the menu option to display the grid directly rather than the single article option, using the article I had set up with the grid and introductory text. Sorry to bother you with the problem.
Best Wishes
