I think I understand the problem but the number 5 on the end refers to shoot no 5, I need it to be whatever shoot is selected. the shoot number is the sgroup_id refered to in the custom id.
If I add &print_id=1 to the custom id, the resulting page will print out without opening a popup window but it prints the whole web page including headers and all.
I believe that by editing my print.css I may be able to remove all the unwanted bits.
