I see in the backend "options" there is a possibilty to choose a default folder for the Files.
The setting is: "administrator/components/com_paiddownloadsjx/files/"

But when i want to add a new file, then the selection list doesn't shows this default folder,
it shows the root folder of my server.

Then i changed the "default folder" into "myfiles/"

But it still won't show this folder, it still offers me to select a file from my server root folder.

How can i fix this?

Hi,

This is very unusual behavior. Just to be clear... Are you trying to add new file that has already been uploaded to the "default folder"? Where does it save the file if you upload it within Paid Downloads JX component? To Joomla root or to the default file?

It saves the file in the set "default" folder.
So this works, but when i want to add a file from the "select file" dropdown, then it shows me the root folder.

I want to sell very large files (700-800MB) , so i must upload them via FTP, i can't use the joomla-upload function. So it would be nice to select them in that dropdown list.

Anyway i found a way to get those files working.
1. i upload the file into my root-folder
2. i create the download with choosing the file from the "dropdown-list"
3. i move the file from the "root" to the "myfiles"-folder and it works.

PS: i use the latest fresh Joomla-Version
I also reinstalled the component and that bug is still there

Hi,

This bug was solved in the latest version of the component (3.2.1). You can download it from the Download page.
