Hi - Can you help me understand if (and if so, how) Table JX can do this....

I have a big DB table of sports results. Has event name, athlete name, event data and things like that.

Can Table JX show certain fields I specify in dropdown fields - so for example the event could be select.. before Table JX goes ahead and does it stuff to retrieve the data????

Hi,

You can use Advanced Filters and select 'list' type instead of 'textbox' for all fields where you want to use lists. Dont forget to tick the checkboxes before the columns that you want to use in the filter. Next, you can enable the option: "Display data after submit". Enabling those two options, which you find both among the "Search Form" setting, will provide a functionality similar to your description.
